History
The night of San Juan is celebrated on the night of june 23rd, this unique traditional holiday which tells you a story of light and darkness, of good and evil through a theater performance and celebrates the victory of driving the bad spirits away through song and a purifying bonfire jump. During the week it feels as if the time stands still in Sant Joan de Labritja but every Sunday, all year around, the car park is full, the 1 street and church square are filled with market stalls of artisan food and local crafts, a stage with locally beloved musicians, locals and tourists mixing on the dance floor and every chair in the cafes is taken.
